Shermel Skerritt Simmonds - Broker Associate
The most rewarding part of being a Realtor for me is the opportunity to be a part of someone else's dream of owning a home. It is very fulfilling to be involved in that process and I work diligently to make sure that nothing gets in the way of realizing that dream for my clients. There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent Real Estate Professional and it is worth every minute spent sharpening my negotiating skills, researching new communities, and keeping up with technology.
I have been a Central Jersey resident (Monmouth and Middlesex counties) for the past 25 years. My extensive knowledge of the area is one of the best attributes that gives me a jump start in the business. Having raised 3 children who were all involved in sports and the arts, I spent countless hours each week driving through our communities' highways and back roads. I still enjoy exploring new towns as I now drive myself and friends around NJ in my role as captain of United States Tennis Association and Central Jersey community recreational tennis teams.
I became a Realtor in 2004 after an exciting career as an accountant in New York City. I lived in New Jersey and worked in NYC for several years so I am very familiar with the commuting concerns of many of my clients moving from New York.
A recipient of NJAR Circle of Excellence award, Member of the Weichert Top Producers Club, Weichert Million Dollar Club, Lead Network Specialist, served on the RPAC Committee, and currently a member of the Commercial and Industrial Information Committee. I pushed forward with my field experience, training and testing to gain my broker's license in 2020. I commit to remaining active in the larger real estate field and I have repeatedly gained recognition for effectively representing and consistently exceeding my client’s expectations.
I look forward to serving buyers and sellers with the utmost integrity, honesty and professionalism.
